Silent Light Curriculum

Silent Light's program of progressive training is designed to expand consciousness, heighten awareness and guide the individual into higher levels of spiritual activity.

The school emphasizes the study of holistic concepts throughout the four year course of study. The curriculum is designed for the adult, with no prerequisites or previous study in Spiritual Science.

Study material are gleaned from the work of leading philosophers of the various movements. Among those represented are Pythagorus, Apollonius of Tyana, Plato, Bacon/Shakespeare, Comte de St. Germaine, Dr. William James (America’s first psychologist and philosopher), and Rudolph Steiner, the Swiss philosopher and founder of Anthroposophy who popularized the term "Spiritual Science.” Also studied are Helena P. Blavatsky, founder of Theosophy, Alice Bailey, founder of the Arcane School, as well as Manly P. Hall, C. W. Leadbeater, Annie Besant, Stewart Edward White and Dion Fortune.

FIRST YEAR: Exploration of the transpersonal realm.
Prerequisites: None
The first year is an introduction to the concepts of death and dying, reincarnation, life between death and rebirth. Other topics of study include philosophy, universal laws and prosperity.

SECOND YEAR: Unifying concepts in world religions.

Prerequisites: First year completed
The student learns the commonalties in world religions including history, philosophy and myth.

THIRD YEAR: Foundation of spiritual healing.
Prerequisites: First and second year completed.
The third year is an introduction to the exoteric and esoteric modes of healing, the involution and evolution of life. Other topics of study include glamour, illusion, anatomy and human energies.

FOURTH YEAR: Abstractions and concepts of our universe.
Prerequisites: First, Second, and Third year completed.
The student now undertakes the advanced course work in symbology, ancient wisdom and philosophy, Tarot, Kabbalah and secret doctrines.
